St. John's Lutheran Ministries has been sending a team into Mexico, through Amor Ministries, for several years now! The purpose behind the trip is the show God's love in action by building a home for a needy family in Mexico.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Local pastors and churches work with Amor Ministries to pick a family that meet a certain criteria, that Amor has made, and gives their names to Amor Ministries.
Amor then takes those families and has churches from all over the world come in to a new home (11' X 22') for the family. During this time, churches work along side the families, talk with them and build relationships that last a lifetime.
Once the churches leave and the home is build, the local pastors and churches continue to help and strengthen the families by telling them about God.

Whether you're experienced in building or never picked up a hammer in your life, it doesn't matter because Amor will work with all skill levels and plus thats part of the experience with the work teams!
