	Mike Alexson Food Service Contractor

Mike Alexson has been a member of St. John's for many years and not only prepares hot lunch meals for St. John's school but also is the owner of "Gourmet Your Way" catering. He is married and has 2 children who are now grown up and attended SJLS when they were younger.


	Brock Baker Maintenance

Brock has grown up at St. John's going through the youth group and now plays guitar in the praise band. Brock is a student at Cal Poly Pomona and uses his talents to maintain St. John's Campus.

	Angela Bashaw Administrative Assistant Email Mrs. Bashaw

Angela has been working as the Administrative Assistant at St. John's since 1998. She attended Hemet High School where she meet her boyfriend now husband, Oscar. She has been blessed with 2 girls who are in college and went through SJLS. If you stop by the office she'll be the first one to greet you!


	David Bellamy Youth Director Email Mr. Bellamy

David has worked with St. John's since 1997 working in the preschool and School Age Care supervisor. Dave has been the Youth Director since 2002 and attended St. John's Youth Group with his wife, then girlfriend, when they where in high school.

He has been married to Nancy (Preschool Director) since 2001 and enjoys working with the middle/high school students.


	Nancy Bellamy Preschool Director-Kindergarten Email Mrs. Bellamy

Nancy was part of the first kindergarten class of SJLS in 1983. She has been working for St. John's preschool since 1996 starting as a preschool teacher and also started teaching kindergarten in 2007.

Nancy is married to Dave (Youth Director) since 2001 and loves working with kids. Nancy has an AS degree in Early Childhood Education and a BA degree in Education from Concordia University. She is so blessed to be able to work with a great team here at St. John's helping students love, lead and learn for time and eternity!


	GeorgeAnn Bryan Teacher Aide-S.A.C. Aide Email Mrs. Bryan

GeorgeAnn has been working with St. John's School since 2007; first with the School Age Care program and then also as a Teacher Aide. She also has worked with children for 9 years all together, as a Certified Home day Care, Certified Special Needs Home Day Care.

GeorgeAnn has been happily married to her husband, who is in the Navy, since 1991. She has been blessed with 3 children, 2 who are young adults and one who attends SJLS.


	Elsa Cambra Rainbow Room Teacher Email Ms. Cambra

Elsa has taught at St. John's Preschool since 1999. She is married and has 2 children both who have attended St. John's. She loves working at St. John's Preschool where she can teach the love of God to the kids.


	Carla Chamberlin S.A.C. Aide

Carla has worked with the School Age Care program since 2008. She is married and has 2 children, one has graduated from SJLS and is high school and while the other attends St. John's middle school.


	Judy Clary Afternoon Preschool Email Ms. Clary

Judy has worked with St. John's preschool since 2008 and loves working with the young kids. Judy has 2 children and 3 grandchildren who she loves spending time with.


	Linda Collins Second Grade Teacher Email Mrs. Collins

Linda loves teaching second graders and serving God at St. John's School. She has taught at St. John's since 2002, first in the preschool and then as the second grade teacher.

She has been a member of St. John's since 1995 where she and her husband of 30+ years has attended. She also has 2 daughters and a son, who have attended at SJLS.

Linda holds a BA from Concordia University, MA Ed. from National University and a CA Multiple Subject Credential.


	Lucy Coronado Meadow Room Teacher Email Ms.Coronado

Lucy has worked with St. John's Preschool since 2007 and loves working with the young kids. Lucy has 2 children of her own and enjoys them very much.


	Janet Cramer Discoveries Reading Teacher Email Mrs. Cramer

Since 1990, Janet has been helping students with their reading skills here at SJLS. Discoveries is a reading intervention program for selected students in grades 1-8. After graduating from Concordia University, Seward, NE, (formerly Concordia Teachers College), I taught various grade levels in Bronxville, NY and Orange, CA before settling in the Hemet area.

Janet is married and has two children that attended SJLS and has been part of St. John's Lutheran Church for 30+ years.

In 2001 I became a certified screener of the Irlen Syndrome, a perceptual problem caused by various degrees of light sensitivity, which can affect accuracy and comfort in reading, and be corrected by the use of colored overlays or tinted lenses. For more information, please go to irlen.com.

	Marilyn Deinert Fifth Grade Teacher Email Mrs. Deinert

Marilyn is originally from Queens in New York City. She attended Lutheran schools from elementary grades through high school. Marilyn has been teaching in the Lutherans schools since 1971 and has a BS in Elementary Education and an MS in Reading Education.

Marilyn is married and has one son. She loves working at St. John's Lutheran School and has been on staff since 1998. She is an active member of St. John's and enjoys her church family.


	Karen Dueker First Grade Teacher Email Mrs. Dueker

Karen has been teaching as a first grade teacher since 1986 and started working at St. John's in 1991. She graduated from Concordia University with a B.A. in teaching with a multiple subject major. God has blessed Karen with three daughters; all who went through St. John's Lutheran School.

Karen also has a wonderfully supportive husband who doesn't mind keeping 20 plus years worth of teacher "stuff" in his garage! She loves to scrapbook, read, sing, and direct handbells. Karen has a passion for teaching and a love for first graders and is blessed by both everyday.


	Sarah Guiza Language Arts [6th-8th] Social Studies [6th-8th] Email Mrs. Guiza

Sarah feels that it is such a blessing to teach to our 6th, 7th and 8th graders! She has taught in the middle school since 2010.

Sarah is a graduate of West Valley High School and holds an Associates degree from Mt. San Jacinto College in Social and Behavioral Sciences, a Bachelors degree in Education from Western Governors University and is set to finish her Masters degree in Instructional Design from Western Governors University by October of 2011.

Sarah has been married to her husband Mario since 2002. We have 2 beautiful sons, Joey and Micah. She loves the Lord and strives to serve him everyday. Sarah enjoys serving at her church as a vocalist on the worship team.

	Christina Harris Sunshine Room Teacher Email Ms. Harris

Christina has been part of the staff at St. John's Preschool since 2007. Her family has attended St. John's Church for over 10 years. She loves working with children and has wanted to be a teacher since middle school.

Christina was born in Bishop, Ca and raised here in Hemet all her life and has a brother who lives in Arizona. Christina attended St. John's School where she learned how to work hard in her studies and also established great morals for life. Jesus has given Christina so many opportunities and is grateful that she can teach the preschool children about God.


	Jayne Harris Middle School Aide S.A.C. Supervisor Email Mrs. Harris

Jayne moved to Hemet over 20 years ago from Bishop, Ca. After searching for a church home, her family was blessed to find St. John’s and became members in 1996. In September 1997, Jayne started working at the school as a teacher’s aide and has since become the School Age Care Supervisor.

Jayne have been married to her husband, Don, over 30 years and has 3 children; two stepsons and a daughter Christina who works in the preschool.

Jayne is truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful church & school family and is looking forward to many more years.


	Julie Henson Ocean Room Teacher Email Ms. Henson

Hello my name is Julie Henson. I have been part of the St. John's family since 2005. I have two children who have grown up here at St John's and are now in first and fourth grade. I love working here because we truly are a family.

God has blessed me with the knowledge and patience to help young children love, lead and learn. We have so much fun in the Ocean Room doing many things that help prepare your children for Kindergarten. I love to watch how much your children grow throughout the year.

I also love to share stories about how Great our God is and how we can talk to him about anything. It is such a privilege to work here with all the amazing teachers and staff.


	Erin Hinojosa Fourth Grade Teacher Email Mrs. Hinojosa

Erin was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She has been married for over twenty-eight years to her wonderful husband, and together have three beautiful children; two
daughters and one son.

Erin has worked at St. John's Lutheran School since 2006, where she currently teaches the 4th grade. Prior to that, she taught Special Education in the middle and high school settings for the Hemet Unified School District.

Erin holds an Associate of Arts degree in Humanities from Mt. San Jacinto College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development with a concentration in English and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from Azusa Pacific University. She also has a Cultural, Language, and Diversity certificate (CLAD), and holds an active California teaching credential.

Erin is highly qualified under the No Child Left Behind Act, having passed the CBEST, SSAT, CSET Multiple Subject, and RICA exams. She is currently working on a second teaching credential and TESOL certificate through Azusa Pacific University.

Erin finds It an honor and a privilege to be entrusted with your child's fourth grade education!

	Vickie Leitz Principal-Kindergarten Email Mrs. Leitz

Vickie grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Mankato State University with a B.S. degree in teaching with an emphasis in speech, theater arts and English. She has been married over 30 years and has three wonderful children and two grandsons.

Vickie has been a member of St. John's Lutherans Church since 1974 with all her children attended St. John's Lutheran School. She started teaching at St. John's in the preschool in 1986 and in 1988 was asked to teach the kindergarten class. She then became the principal in 1992.

Vickie is thrilled to have a job where you are able to instruct children in a loving Christian atmosphere and excellence in learning with love and support for our students and their families.


	Stephanie Lynch Admissions Director Preschool Director Email Mrs. Lynch

Stephanie loves Jesus with all her heart and is grateful that He put her here at St. John's Lutheran Ministries to serve Him in whatever way she can!

Stephanie has worn many hats at St. John's; parent, teacher, administrator, aide, youth worker, praise band singer and church member to name a few! Nowadays, she acts as the SJLS Admission's Director and Cheer Advisor. She is finishing her Bachelor's of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Western Governor's University with the goal of earning a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.

Stephanie has been married to her awesome husband Mike since 1987, and has 2 children and a daughter-in-law, and loves to visit with them as much as possible. Stephanie really enjoys getting to know all of the families that SJLS serves.


	Beth Meyer Sunshine Room Teacher Email Ms. Meyer

Beth has worked at St. John's preschool since 2009. She graduated from Chapman University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish.

Beth grew up in the Orange Co. area with her family and went to a private Christian school in the area before moving out to Hemet. She loves to teach young children the wonderful Christian values that will help the kids as they grow.


	Greg Miller Math [6th-8th]-Science [6th-8th] Religion [6th-7th] Email Mr. Miller

Greg Miller has worked at St. John's as the 6th teacher since 1995 and more recently as the math, science and religion teacher when SJLS expanded to 8th grade.

Greg is married to his wonderful wife Nancy and has 2 sons, both which attended St. John's School. Before being a teacher at SJLS, Greg graduated from West Point Academy and served in the military.


	Matt Miller S.A.C. Aide-PE Teacher [6th-8th]

Matt has worked at St. John's School Age Care program since 2009. As a young child, and son to our middle school teacher Mr. Miller, Matt attended St. John's School.

Matt is a college student and enjoys working with the kids at St. John's Lutheran School and helping them learn and grow in God's word!


	Shelley Oswald Meadow Room Teacher Email Ms. Oswald

Shelley is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ who is at the center of all her endeavors and why she does what she does. Jesus loves little children (Matt.19:14) and so does Shelley. She is happily married to her husband Ozzie and loves to sing and be with young children.

Shelley's desire to nurture children is a precious trust from Jesus. She has been working at St. John's since 1999.

	Dennis Stueve Senior Pastor Email Pastor Dennis

Dennis has been a Pastor in the Lutheran Church for 30 years and has a great family. Growing up on a dairy farm; Dennis always loved Christmas time and wanted to tell others about Jesus and how he died on the cross in their place.

His wife Debra and daughters Kari and Lisa are a real blessing.St. John's is a great Church that was established in 1928 and is a place filled with people who are like you. They have joys and sorrows, ups and downs, good days and bad. They also have a peace of knowing that no matter what happens, God is there for them.

That's not wishful thinking; it's a promise from God that comes through His Son, Jesus who gave His life that we might live with God now and forever. That peace shows in the friendliness and the genuine caring you will experience at St. John's. Pastor Dennis invites you to be a part of our family too!


	Joan Randa Mountain Room Teacher Email Ms. Randa

Joan was born in Iowa and grew up on a farm, one of 6 children and all of them were expected to work. She learned to "walk the beans", hoe weeds out of the corn and de-tassle. Joan married her childhood sweetheart and moved to California.

Joan always had a desire to work with children. That opportunity came when St. John's opened a preschool in September of 1985. Joan has been on staff since that time which makes her the most "mature" teacher. Many students have called her grandma and she considers it a compliment.

	JoAnn Toomey Mountain Room Teacher Email Ms. Toomey

JoAnn is one of the Mountain Room Pre-K teachers. She has a son who has attended St. John's since 2002 when he began preschool. Her family has lived in Hemet for most of their lives. JoAnn and her family loves the Lord and is blessed by God with many talents and hope.

JoAnn has been a preschool teacher at St. John's since 2003 and has enjoyed serving your precious children greatly. They are our future and should be cherished. JoAnn has been in the Mountain Room since her first day on the job. Aside from working at the preschool, JoAnn is also a certified aerobics instructor and loves to
exercise.

St. John's is a wonderful home to love the Lord and JoAnn and her family feel privileged to be part of it!


	Sally Will Third Grade Teacher Email Mrs. Will

Sally has been working here at St. John’s since 2001. Sally, her husband James and son Andrew have been coming to St. John’s since 1995. Andrew attended St. John’s preschool and elementary school.

Sally has a B.A. in elementary education from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York and was born in Long Island, New York and came to California in 1977.

Sally loves cross word puzzles, scrapbooking, reading, cooking shows and the LA Kings Hockey team! She also plays in the hand bell choir and has served on many boards here at St. John’s.
