Mike Alexson has been a member of St. John's for many years and not only prepares hot lunch meals for St. John's school but also is the owner of "Gourmet Your Way" catering. He is married and has 2 children who are now grown up and attended SJLS when they were younger.

Brock Baker

Brock has grown up at St. John's going through the youth group and now plays guitar in the praise band. Brock is a student at Cal Poly Pomona and uses his talents to maintain St. John's Campus.

Angela has been working as the Administrative Assistant at St. John's since 1998. She attended Hemet High School where she meet her boyfriend now husband, Oscar. She has been blessed with 2 girls who are in college and went through SJLS. If you stop by the office she'll be the first one to greet you!

David has worked with St. John's since 1997 working in the preschool and School Age Care supervisor. Dave has been the Youth Director since 2002 and attended St. John's Youth Group with his wife, then girlfriend, when they where in high school.
He has been married to Nancy (Preschool Director) since 2001 and enjoys working with the middle/high school students.

Nancy was part of the first kindergarten class of SJLS in 1983. She has been working for St. John's preschool since 1996 starting as a preschool teacher and also started teaching kindergarten in 2007.
Nancy is married to Dave (Youth Director) since 2001 and loves working with kids. Nancy has an AS degree in Early Childhood Education and a BA degree in Education from Concordia University. She is so blessed to be able to work with a great team here at St. John's helping students love, lead and learn for time and eternity!

GeorgeAnn has been working with St. John's School since 2007; first with the School Age Care program and then also as a Teacher Aide. She also has worked with
children for 9 years all together, as a Certified Home day Care,
Certified Special Needs Home Day Care.
GeorgeAnn has been happily married to her husband, who is in the Navy, since 1991. She has been blessed with 3 children, 2 who are young adults and one who attends SJLS.

Elsa has taught at St. John's Preschool since 1999. She is married and has 2 children both who have attended St. John's. She loves working at St. John's Preschool where she can teach the love of God to the kids.

Carla Chamberlin

Carla has worked with the School Age Care program since 2008. She is married and has 2 children, one has graduated from SJLS and is high school and while the other attends St. John's middle school.

Judy has worked with St. John's preschool since 2008 and loves working with the young kids. Judy has 2 children and 3 grandchildren who she loves spending time with.

Linda loves teaching second graders and serving God at St. John's School. She has taught at St. John's since 2002, first in the preschool and then as the second grade teacher.
She has been a member of St. John's since 1995 where she and her husband of 30+ years has attended. She also has 2 daughters and a son, who have attended at SJLS.
Linda holds a BA from Concordia University, MA Ed. from National University and a CA Multiple Subject Credential.

Lucy has worked with St. John's Preschool since 2007 and loves working with the young kids. Lucy has 2 children of her own and enjoys them very much.

Since 1990, Janet has been helping students with their reading skills here at SJLS. Discoveries is a reading intervention program for selected students in grades 1-8. After graduating from Concordia University, Seward, NE, (formerly Concordia Teachers College), I taught various grade levels in Bronxville, NY and Orange, CA before settling in the Hemet area.
Janet is married and has two children that attended SJLS and has been part of St. John's Lutheran Church for 30+ years.
In 2001 I became a certified screener of the Irlen Syndrome, a perceptual problem caused by various degrees of light sensitivity, which can affect accuracy and comfort in reading, and be corrected by the use of colored overlays or tinted lenses. For more information, please go to
