Message From the
Youth Director
Mr. David Bellamy
Dear Parents and Students,
My name is David Bellamy and I want to welcome you to Student Ministries! St. John’s Student Ministry is open to all students and their friends that are in middle school [6th-8th] and high school [9th-12th].
Everything we do in our ministry point’s students to having a relationship with Christ on their own and to get connected to others in the student ministry. It’s our prayer and hope that within the student ministry a student’s spiritual life will begin to mature and flourish in an atmosphere that is full of laughter, fun and life.
St. John’s Student Ministry exists to create a safe place for our students, to foster a life with Christ and to help them connect with other believers.
Powerful and life-changing community can exist, with great difficultly, because a Christ-centered environment calls for acceptance, encouragement, authenticity and discernment.
In our world, people are quick to join clubs and form crowds and everywhere you look, superficial relationships flourish. It is our prayer that the student ministry becomes a meaningful place where students thrive and build relationships.
I hope that as you read through the Student Ministries area it will give you a better understanding of who we are and what we are all about.
